To guarantee your letters and parcels arrive on time, here’s when to send them by:

  • 2nd Class & 2nd Class Signed For: Friday 18th December
  • 1st Class, 1st Class Signed For & Royal Mail Tracked 48™: Monday 21st December
  • Royal Mail Tracked 24™: Tuesday 22nd December
  • Special Delivery Guaranteed™: Wednesday 23rd December

Note: Tracked 24™ and Tracked 48™ services are not available for purchase at Post Office branches.

International Christmas Post Cut-Offs

Sending parcels abroad? Act fast or miss the festive delivery:

  • International Economy: Too late for Canada, Cyprus, Eastern Europe, Greece, Iceland, Malta, Turkey, USA, Middle/Far East, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Africa, plus all non-European destinations except South Africa, Canada, Middle/Far East, USA.
  • Western Europe (International Economy): Send by Monday 16th November — just about in time.

  • 9th December: Africa, Asia, Caribbean, Central and South America, Far and Middle East
