Brutal Bike Theft in Basingstoke: Boy Assaulted and Stolen From

Hampshire cops are hunting a thug who violently robbed an 11-year-old boy in broad daylight in Basingstoke.

Boy Pushed and Kicked in Shocking Assault

The youngster was in Buckskin Lane on Saturday evening (September 15) between 6.10pm and 6.45pm when an unknown man shoved him to the ground before delivering a kick. The attacker then made off with the boy’s prized black and white Carrera Vulcan bike.

Thankfully, the boy escaped without injuries, and officers later found the stolen bike dumped on Pinkerton Road.

Witnesses Urgently Needed

The crime happened on a busy road near homes, so police urge anyone who saw the scuffle or spotted the man riding the bike before it was recovered to speak up immediately.

Suspect Description

  • Black male, aged 20–28
  • About 6ft tall, muscular build
  • Wearing a black hooded top and a red and green Gucci belt
