Police appeal following car fire in Kent

Kent Police is appealing for witnesses following a report that a car was on fire in Kemsing. It was reported at 6.15pm on Tuesday 31 July that a woman was seen pouring what is believed to be petrol over the car and then set it alight in West End. She was then seen leaving the area in the direction of Dynes Road. Investigating officer, PC Andrew Boyden said: ‘We are aware that there were many people who witnessed this incident and I am appealing for them to come forward to help this investigation. ‘I am especially keen to hear from those who have footage on phones or dashcam from the area that may help us.’ Anyone with any information is asked to call Kent Police on 01622 604100 quoting 31-1186.
