Man Stabbed in Broad Daylight in Margate – Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up!
Police are hunting witnesses after a stabbing in Margate left a man in his 30s fighting for life. The attack happened at around 1.50pm on Tuesday, 11 September 2018, on Northdown Road near Devonshire Gardens.
Victim Attacked After Pavement Dispute
The victim had just stepped out of his car when he got into a heated argument with another man. The confrontation quickly turned violent and the man was stabbed before being rushed to a London hospital. Both men are believed to know each other.
Detective Pleads for Eyewitnesses
Detective Sergeant Brian Doughty of Kent Police said:
“Anyone who was in the area around the time could hold the key to this case. The scene is a busy stretch packed with shops and businesses, so we’re confident there are witnesses who haven’t yet come forward.”
