Wind storm sweeps across the Isle of Wight leaving damage
A mass wind storm has swept across the Isle of Wight leaving a trial of destruction and damage in its path. Main Road in Haven Street is to totally blocked after a tree fell. As as Sea close a 100 year oak has been smashed to ground. Further reports of a tree down at Downend Road trapping the number 8 bus. Cross channel travel has also been serveley effected. Hover travel have supsensed there services and Wightlink has also cancelled the Lymington services Red funnel have cancelled the car ferry services until at least 5.30pm.
