A teenage boy has been arrested after a man was hurt and a child threatened in Barham.
Man Attacked, Child Threatened with Weapon
The shocking incident happened on Brickfield Road at around 4.30pm on Saturday, 16 March 2019. A man suffered a hand injury after being assaulted, while a child was threatened with a weapon just moments earlier.
Quick Response, Delayed Arrest
Police rushed to the scene but the suspect had fled before their arrival. The injured man was taken to hospital for treatment. Thankfully, the child escaped unharmed.
After a day of investigation, a teenage boy was arrested on Sunday, 17 March 2019. He is now in police custody as detectives continue their inquiries.
