Two arrested following vehicle stop in Ramsgate

Kent Police officers have seized wraps of suspected class A drugs after they stopped a vehicle in Ramsgate. On Saturday, 30 March 2019, officers stopped a car in Clements Road, Ramsgate. They searched the occupants and found 35 wraps of what is thought to be heroin. They also seized cash and several mobile phones. Two people were arrested on suspicion of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply. A 50-year-old woman and 41-year-old man were both interviewed in connection with the offences before being released under investigation whilst enquiries continue.
