Floating Bridge in collision with a yacht on the Isle of Wight
The Isle of Wight council owned Cowes Floating Bridge has been involved in a collision with a yacht on the River Medina this afternoon (Friday).
The passengers vessels came into contact with a yacht whilst it was docking at East Cowes at just before 4pm in Good Friday.
Service users were able to unload onto the slipway albeit at an unusual angle.
No one is understood to have been injured as a result of the collision.
The Isle of Wight Council have been approached for comment
