Car well alight on the A3 near Petersfield

Two fire crews from Petersfield and Liphook have been called to a car ablaze on the busy A3. Crews are attending the fire near the Clanfield junction on the northbound carriageway of the A3 following a number of calls just after 5pm on Monday advising that the vehicle was well alight. Police have closed one lane on approach to the incident that is leading to a traffic queue and delays of approximately 40 minutes. More to follow
