Police are offering a reward of £20,000 for information leading to the arrest of Makuch

Detectives appealing to find a man wanted for a murder in Acton are offering a £20,000 reward. Patryk Makuch, who is aged 34 and a Polish national, is wanted in connection with the murder of Kamil Malysz. Makuch is believed to have travelled to Europe and a European Arrest Warrant has been obtained. Police are offering a reward of £20,000 for information leading to the arrest of Makuch. Officers were called at 10:15hrs on Sunday, 27 January to a flat in Alfred Road, Acton, after concerns were raised for the welfare of Kamil. Kamil, who was also 34 and also a Polish national, was found dead at the scene. A post-mortem examination took place at Uxbridge Mortuary on Monday, 28 January and gave cause of death as haemorrhaging due to a stab injury. Kamil’s next of kin have been informed and his family members in Poland are being kept up to date with the investigation. Detectives from the Specialist Crime Command are investigating. Detective Chief Inspector Katherine Goodwin, said: “Kamil Malysz was stabbed to death and his family are dealing with his tragic loss. However, the fact that the person responsible has not been brought to justice only adds to their anguish. I would appeal to anyone who can help us find this man to contact police. “Makuch is probably abroad and my detectives have been working closely with the Polish authorities to find and arrest him. However this man may well be anywhere in northern Europe and a European Arrest Warrant has been obtained and his details circulated to all the relevant countries. This means that anyone visiting Europe can contact the local police with information about Makuch’s whereabouts and there is a reward of £20,000 if that information leads to his arrest.” Anyone with any information is asked to call the incident room on 020 8785 8244.
