Terraced House Goes Up in Flames
Chaos hit Windsor Road, Ilford, as fire ripped through a terraced house Saturday evening. Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters rushed to tackle the blaze.
Damage to Ground and First Floors
The fire tore through part of the ground and first floors, causing serious damage. Thankfully, one man escaped the property before firefighters arrived.
Fast Response Gets Fire Under Control
The Brigade was alerted at 7.20pm and had the fire under control by just after 8pm. Crews from Ilford and Barking fire stations worked swiftly on the scene.
Cause Still a Mystery
The origin of the fire remains unknown. Investigation is ongoing.
