Police Hunt Two After Early Morning Hit-And-Run in Swindon

Police are urgently seeking help to identify two individuals linked to a serious collision on Queens Drive, Swindon. The crash happened just after 3:20am on May 25, when a car struck a man in his 30s walking in the road. The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and is still in hospital.

Authorities want to track down a man and a woman seen with the victim shortly before the smash. The pair were last spotted walking towards town and are believed to have spoken briefly with the injured man.

  • Female: Wearing a knee-length light-coloured coat (possibly camel) with a hood, carrying a dark backpack.
  • Male: Around 6ft tall with a slim build, in a waist-length dark jacket, jeans or dark trousers, also with a dark backpack.

Police Release Photo and Plea for Witnesses

Wiltshire police have put out a poor-quality photo of the two in the hope they’ll come forward or be identified. They urge anyone with information to call the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 01225 694597 quoting log 37 of May 25, or email [email protected].
