Fox Caught in Tyre Rim Near Tottenham Fire Station
A London Fire Brigade spokesperson revealed the fox had its head stuck right in the middle of the tyre rim. It was spotted not far from Tottenham Fire Station by the RSPCA.
Firefighters Use Specialist Tools to Free Calm Fox
Brave crews protected the fox’s head and used expert cutting equipment to carefully release the animal. The fox stayed surprisingly calm throughout the rescue and walked away unscathed once freed.
“The fox was calm whilst crews worked to cut away at the wheel and thankfully, he was uninjured. The RSPCA handler took the fox back to where they found him and he ran off to find his family,” the spokesperson said.

The firefighter’s role is diverse, tackling everything from fires to animal rescues. They urge people not to risk their own safety trying to save distressed animals. Instead, call the RSPCA first. The Brigade will step in if specialist gear is needed, just like this time.
The call came in at 5:02pm and was wrapped up by 5:59pm with crews from Tottenham 1 Station handling the job.
