Manhunt Launched After Fatal Stabbing in Tower Hamlets
Police are hunting 20-year-old Kwabena Boateng, last seen leaving a hotel on Commercial Road, Tower Hamlets, on the afternoon of 22 September. Described as 6ft 2in, medium build, with short hair and a London accent, Boateng is wanted in connection with a deadly stabbing.
Fatal Fight Erupts on East Ferry Road
Officers were called to East Ferry Road at 8.26pm on 21 September after reports of a violent group fight. On arrival, they found 33-year-old Mohamed Ensser suffering from a stab wound. Despite officers administering CPR and the efforts of London Ambulance paramedics, Mohamed was pronounced dead at the scene at 8.52pm.
Murder Investigation Underway
A post-mortem confirmed Mohamed died from a stab wound to the neck causing hypovolemic shock. The Met’s Specialist Crime Command launched a murder probe immediately. Detective Chief Inspector Larry Smith urged anyone who sees Kwabena Boateng not to approach but to call 999 straight away.
