Essex Police given more time to question school boy murder suspect Terrance Glover
Detectives have been given more time to question man who is accused of murdering Harley Watson and injuring six others. The 51-year-old, from Loughton, was arrested by armed police on suspicion of murder, six offences of attempted murder, one offence of causing death by dangerous driving, six offences of causing serious injury by driving, failing to stop at the scene of a collision and driving without insurance. A superintendent from Essex Police is understood to have granted a further period of a further 24 hours custody time due to the seriousness and complex nature of the investigation. Forensics officers were seen leaving the hospital with bags of his clothes. Essex Police revealed yesterday that voluntarily referred itself to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) based on previous contact between the force and a 51-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder and other offences in connection with a collision which happened in Willingale Road, Loughton, on Monday 2 December.
