Gravesend Sex Offender Jailed for Over Four Years of Child Abuse
A vile sex offender from Gravesend has been locked up for 11 years after admitting to abusing a child for more than four years.
Stefan Turner’s Sick Crimes
Stefan Turner, 27, pled guilty to multiple charges, including raping a child under 13, causing a child to engage in sexual activity, and two counts of sexual assault. These horrifying offences took place between January 2014 and August 2018.
Justice Served at Maidstone Crown Court
Turner was sentenced on 12 December 2019 at Maidstone Crown Court. His arrest came just months earlier in September 2019 after he voluntarily went to the police and confessed to the assaults.

PC Zoe Langdale of the North Kent Vulnerable Investigation Team slammed Turner’s actions: “Turner targeted his victim from a young age and then went on to systematically abuse the child over a number of years. The damage he has caused is immeasurable and he is now facing the consequences of his appalling actions.”
She added, “We have a team of specialist officers who work relentlessly to bring offenders like Turner to justice. Anyone who reports abuse is treated with the utmost sensitivity and care by our officers, and we encourage victims to have the courage to come forward.”
