Heartfelt tributes have poured in for Maureen Weir, 81, who tragically died after crashing her car into a wall in Southampton last week.
Tragic Crash on Chalk Hill
Maureen, from Shales Road, was driving her blue Toyota Aygo on Chalk Hill at 8:40am last Monday when she collided with a wall. The single-vehicle smash claimed her life.
Family Mourns Kind-Hearted Mother and Nan
“We would like to pay special tribute to our loving, kind, honest and generous mum, nan and great-nan,” her family said.
“She was sadly taken away from us in a tragic accident, before her time. She will be forever in our hearts and our thoughts.”

Police Seek Witnesses to Crash
Police are still investigating the crash. Anyone who saw the collision or has dash cam footage from Chalk Hill at 8:40am last Monday is urged to contact 101, quoting incident number 44200015032.
