Emergency Call Turns Violent
The distress call came through just after noon to an address on Stephens Close. Moments after arriving, the paramedics triggered an emergency alert, revealing they had been stabbed.
Massive Emergency Response
Three extra ambulances, two Midlands Air Ambulances, and the West Midlands Care Team rushed to the scene. They were joined by three paramedic officers to contain the chaos.
Paramedics Treated and Hospitalised
The two injured paramedics received urgent treatment on site before being taken to hospital for further care. Meanwhile, police officers tasered a man at the scene, who was also treated by ambulance staff.
