Man Hospitalised After Brutal Assault Outside Streatham Restaurant

Detectives are on the hunt for a suspect after a 42-year-old man suffered a serious head injury in a violent attack outside Mikrus Restaurant on Streatham High Road.

Attack Caught Police Attention in Early Hours

The incident happened around 2am on Saturday, 11 July. Police and London Ambulance rushed to the scene. The victim was rushed to hospital and remains in a serious condition.

Police Appeal for Help Identifying Suspect

Walworth CID detectives are probing the case. Investigating officer DC Oliver Honeybun-Arnolda said: “This was a very serious assault which has left a man in hospital with a significant injury. I appeal to anyone with information or who recognises the man in the footage to come forward.”

Police say the lone attacker, described as a white man, fled north along Streatham High Road. No arrests have been made and inquiries are ongoing.
