Two suspects have been charged with a series of offences following thefts from cars in the Folkestone area – UKNIP

Two suspects have been charged with a series of offences following thefts from cars in the Folkestone area.

 

Lewis Bennett, 27, of The Bayle, Folkestone, has been charged with five counts of theft, six counts of fraud and one count of burglary.

 

The theft charges relate to reported thefts from cars in the Hawkinge and Folkestone area between Tuesday 1 September and Monday 7 September 2020.

 

The burglary charge relates to an incident in Dymchurch on Wednesday 12 August.

 

Kai Hubbard, 21, of Nash Hill, Folkestone has been charged with four counts of theft, four counts of fraud and one count of robbery.

 

The robbery charge relates to an incident in Roman Way, Folkestone on Sunday 16 August.

 

Both men appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 9 September and were remanded in custody to appear before Canterbury Crown Court on Monday 12 October.
