Police are hunting for witnesses after a brutal attack in Shepperton left two men badly injured.

Violent Fight Breaks Out in Shepperton Court

Officers rushed to Shepperton Court at 9pm on Tuesday, 22 September, following reports of a large fight. By the time they arrived, the group had vanished.

Victims Hospitalised with Severe Injuries

Police later learned that two men were being treated at St Peter’s Hospital in Chertsey for serious wounds. Some injuries appear to have been caused by a hammer or a similar weapon.

Detective Inspector Sean West said: “This was an extremely violent attack which took place in a public place so we are hoping someone might have seen something. We are urging anyone with any information to get in touch with us.”

Two 21-year-old men from Sunbury-on-Thames were arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous and actual bodily harm. Both have been released on police bail as inquiries continue.
