Cyclist Mowed Down by Mystery BMW in Rustington Hit-and-Run!
Shocking Hit-and-Run on Rustington Streets
On the morning of Monday, 28 September, a 33-year-old cyclist was hit by a silver BMW near the Allangate Estate and Angmering railway station in Rustington. The BMW, believed to be a 5 or 7 series, sped off with blacked-out windows and a distinctive AC Schnitzer-style grille featuring red and blue stripes.
Cyclist Left Injured as Driver Flees the Scene
The victim suffered a knee injury but was left abandoned as the reckless driver fled the scene. Witnesses say the car was driven deliberately at the cyclist, sparking outrage and a police hunt.
Police Launch Manhunt for BMW and Driver
Detective Constable Andrea Watts said: “From witness accounts, it is clear that the car was deliberately driven at the cyclist. We want to trace both the car and its driver and any other occupants.”
