Two Teens Busted for Knife Possession in Greenwich

Detectives in Greenwich have charged two 16-year-old boys with carrying a knife after a tense street incident. Police are now hunting witnesses and anyone with phone footage to help crack the case.

Street Standoff Sparks Police Action

Officers rushed to Red Lion Lane, SE18, at 12.54pm on Monday, 5 October following reports of two males spotted with a knife. Both teens were promptly arrested on suspicion of affray.

Charged and Remanded

On Wednesday, 7 October, the boys were formally charged with possession of a bladed article and affray. They were remanded in custody and are set to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court the same day.

No Injuries, But Still a Serious Crime

Thankfully, no one was hurt during the incident. Police are urging anyone who saw what happened or has footage to come forward.
