Million-Pound Cannabis Farm Raided on North Circular Road
Police swooped on a property on North Circular Road, NW2 after tip-offs from concerned locals. When officers arrived on Tuesday, 17 November, they found the stairs to the top floor barricaded, sparking immediate suspicion.
Dog Unit Uncovers Huge Cannabis Grow
With the help of a police dog, officers pushed through the building and uncovered a massive cannabis crop at the top floor. The haul is worth a staggering £1 million, according to authorities.

“These plants were evidentially being grown with the sole intention to be sold for a vast amount of profit,” said Chief Inspector Grace Blake-Turner from the Met’s Taskforce.
“I’d like to thank the members of public who alerted us to this address. Because they voiced their concerns to police, over one million pounds worth of class B drugs are now off the streets.”
Authorities Warn of Dangers Behind Cannabis Farming
North West BCU Commander Louis Smith highlighted the dark side of cannabis farming.
“Growing and selling cannabis funds career criminals who cause misery and commit extreme violence,” he said. “People are killed producing cannabis in this way. These criminals often exploit the vulnerable by forcing them to manage cannabis farms.”
“Thanks to the member of the public and the Taskforce officers for removing this serious threat from our streets.”
An investigation is now underway to track down those responsible for the illegal grow operation and its distribution network.
