Woman Attacked and Robbed on Railway Platform – Police Hunt Suspect
Just after 1.30pm on Friday 18 September, a woman waiting on a railway platform was confronted by a man demanding money. When she tried to run, she dropped her handbag – but the ordeal was far from over.
Man Chases Victim and Snatches Handbag
The thug chased the woman down and grabbed her by the neck. Luckily, a station staff member stepped in to stop the attack. But the attacker wasn’t finished. He went back, snatched the dropped handbag, and made off from the station.
Victim Escapes Serious Injury
Despite the scary encounter, the woman did not suffer serious injuries.
