Drug suspect Michael Anwyl hands himself in amid major NCA crackdown
Limavady man walks into police after major drug probe
Michael Anwyl, 33, from Irwin Avenue, Limavady, boldly handed himself in at Coleraine Police Station yesterday. Cops arrested and grilled him over serious drug charges.
Charged with major drug supply offences
Anwyl now faces charges of conspiring to supply Class A and B drugs. He’s also accused of involvement in distributing Class A, B, and C substances.
Operation Venetic nets multiple arrests in north
The swoop comes after four others were arrested last week across Lisburn, Antrim, Crumlin, and Limavady. The National Crime Agency’s probe zeroed in following a deep dive into encrypted Encrochat messages. The secret platform was smashed earlier this year as part of Operation Venetic, hitting organised crime hard.
