Drug Dealer Caught Red-Handed in Eastville Park

Mikel Shishay was nabbed by police in Eastville Park on 26 June after officers spotted a suspicious exchange. DNA tests linked the drugs directly to Shishay. Last month, he was charged with two counts of supplying Class A drugs.

Jailed for Over Three Years

The 26-year-old, with no fixed address, pleaded guilty at Bristol Crown Court and was slammed with a three-year and four-month sentence. His arrest came through Operation Remedy – a crack team targeting drug crime and its ripple effects.

Police Praise Operation Remedy’s Work

“Drug dealing often sparks other crimes and brings misery to communities,” said PC Owen Holmes from Operation Remedy.

“Shishay has a long history of drug dealing. It’s great to see proactive policing clearing Bristol’s streets of yet another criminal.”

“We hope this jail term sends a clear message: selling illegal drugs won’t be tolerated.”
