Gun Dealer Nick Miller Jailed for Five Years
Nick Miller, 56, from Westminster, was sentenced to five years behind bars after pleading guilty to possessing two prohibited firearms. The Southwark Crown Court handed down the sentence on Thursday, 18 March, with the terms to run concurrently.
Armed Police Raid Reveals Deadly Arsenal
Detectives swooped on Miller’s home on 12 February, arresting him for possession of a firearm and ammunition. A police raid uncovered a dangerous haul:
- Sawn-off pump action shotgun
- Self-loading pistol
- Various ammunition rounds
- Over 60 shotgun cartridges
Miller was remanded in custody and appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court a week later on 18 February.

“I am pleased with today’s sentence which reflects the seriousness of Miller’s crimes,” said Detective Inspector Jim Casey from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command. “These firearms were live and capable of inflicting serious harm. I have no doubt they would have been used to commit crime on London streets. Our goal is to protect our communities and we will keep going after those involved in firearms and serious crime.”
