Armed Police Nab Man with Loaded Guns in Isleworth
Just before midnight on Wednesday, 24 March, armed officers stopped a car on Twickenham Road, near London Road in Isleworth.
Two Loaded Firearms Seized at the Scene
A search of the vehicle uncovered two loaded guns. The 26-year-old driver was arrested on the spot, suspected of possessing firearms with intent to endanger life.
Met Police Vow to Crack Down on Serious Crime
“This operation continues to show we will relentlessly target those involved in serious crime in order to protect the communities of London,” said Detective Inspector Jim Casey from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command.
“These weapons were clearly intended to be used in crime and could have resulted in serious injury or even death.”
The suspect remains in custody at a west London police station while detectives carry on with their enquiries.
