Man Dies After Head Injury in Feltham, Murder Charge Made
Tragedy struck in Feltham on Sunday afternoon when a 36-year-old man was found with serious head injuries at a home on Fawns Manor Close.
Police rushed to the scene at 12:04pm, joined by London Ambulance Service and the Air Ambulance. The injured man was rushed to hospital but sadly died the next day.
Victim Identified as Ion Cernei
The victim has been named as Ion Cernei, 36, a Northolt resident with Romanian and Moldavian nationality. His family have been informed of the devastating news.
Suspect Arrested and Charged with Murder
Following the incident, a 36-year-old man turned himself in at a west London police station. Eugeniu Rusnac of Cedar Road, Feltham, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He has now been charged with murder after Mr Cernei’s death.
Rusnac is set to appear in custody at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 19 October.
