Crash Sparks Urgent Police Appeal
Police are hunting witnesses after a motorcyclist was badly hurt in a crash with a Land Rover on the A21 near Whatlington, East Sussex. The smash happened just before 4pm on Saturday, December 4, at the junction with Whatlington Road.
Air Ambulance Scrambles to Scene
Paramedics and the air ambulance rushed to the scene to treat the injured biker, who suffered serious injuries. The Land Rover involved, described as grey or dark-coloured, fled with front-end damage.
Sussex Police Chase Hit-and-Run Driver
Officers believe the Land Rover was heading southbound, then escaped via Stream Lane towards Sedlescombe. Sussex Roads Policing Unit want locals and garages to keep an eye out for the damaged vehicle.
