Four Teenagers Stabbed in Walthamstow Knife Attack
Police are at the scene after a brutal stabbing spree on Thornbury Way, Walthamstow, this evening.
Seven Detained as Victims Hospitalised
Four teenagers were stabbed during the incident. All are now receiving hospital treatment. Three are in a non-life-threatening condition. The condition of the fourth victim remains unknown.
Police Say ‘Isolated Incident’ but Launch Major Hunt
A Met Police spokesperson said: “This is an isolated incident and we don’t believe there is a risk to members of the public.” However, road closures are in place around Thornbury Way as officers carry out investigations.
Witness Appeal and Tougher Stop-and-Search Powers
Authorities are urging anyone with info to call 101 quoting reference CAD 7922/11MAR20.
Police have also been granted extra stop-and-search powers under Section 60 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act across Walthamstow, Leyton, and Leytonstone to track down suspects.
