Flashy Jaguar and £7k Cash Lead to Drug Bust in Tunbridge Wells
A flashy purple Jaguar roaring through Tunbridge Wells didn’t just catch eyes—it caught the law’s attention. Behind the wheel, 21-year-old Sabjon Shehi was stopped for driving uninsured. But that was just the start. Police soon found cocaine and cash, sparking a major drug investigation.
Driver’s Excuses Crumble Under Police Scrutiny
On the evening of Friday 8 August 2025, Shehi claimed he was just meeting a woman and that the 10 vials of cocaine in his car were for personal use. Officers weren’t buying it. Both stories quickly fell apart. Shehi was arrested immediately and his Jaguar seized.
Further probing revealed a suspicious £2,700 cash transfer to an Albanian contact, pointing to organised crime links. A raid on his Sevenoaks home uncovered a block of cocaine hidden inside a Louis Vuitton bag, thousands in cash, scales, and packaging materials.
Drug Dealer Slapped with 28 Months and Luxury Assets Confiscated
At Maidstone Crown Court, Shehi pled guilty to possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, possessing criminal property, and driving uninsured.
On Monday 5 January 2026, he was jailed for 28 months and fined with eight penalty points for uninsured driving. The court ordered his £7,185 cash stash and luxury Jaguar seized and handed over to charity, cutting off his criminal cash flow.
Detective Hits Out at Shehi’s “Lies and Ill-Gotten Gains”
“From the moment police stopped the car and spoke to Shehi, none of his claims were found to be true,” said Detective Inspector Rob Hemsley. “He travelled uninsured to Tunbridge Wells hoping to deal Class A drugs. Officers acted fast to disrupt his operation. Now he will serve time in prison.”
“His lifestyle was funded by crime. We thank the court for stopping him from keeping money made by causing misery to others.”
