Tragic Death After Dorset Collision – Family Pay Tribute to Devoted Dad
Crash Rocks Ashley Cross
Dorset Police were called at 5.35pm on Sunday 13 February 2022 after a collision near the junction of Station Road and Church Road in Ashley Cross.
The crash involved a silver Land Rover Freelander and a grey Nissan Pulsar.
Arrests Made as Investigation Unfolds
A 41-year-old man from Poole was arrested on suspicion of driving offences. He has since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
Additionally, a 79-year-old Poole man is assisting police and has taken part in a voluntary interview.
Pedestrian Dies After Serious Injuries
Tragically, 32-year-old Chris Lynch from southampton/" title="Southampton" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Southampton, the pedestrian involved, sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Southampton General Hospital.
On Wednesday 16 February 2022, Chris died in hospital.
