Hit-and-Run Horror in Southampton: Man Left Seriously Injured

Police are hunting witnesses after a hit-and-run in Southampton left a man in his 50s fighting for his life.

Dark BMW Sparks Police Hunt

The crash happened at 9.56pm on 3 March, as the victim crossed Civic Centre Road near Havelock Road with a group. A dark BMW slammed into him then sped off towards Cumberland Place.

Two Arrested in Connection to Attack

The injured man was rushed to hospital with serious injuries. Police have arrested two men from Kent: a 53-year-old on suspicion of conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm, and a 50-year-old for grievous bodily harm with intent. Both remain in custody as inquiries continue.
