Police have sadly confirmed that the man they were called to this lunchtime at the base of the cliffs of Dover was pronounced deceased at the scene

Kent Police was called following a report that the body of a man had been found near Langdon Bay, Dover at 11.55am on Monday 14 March 2022.

Officers attended along with HM Coastguard and the man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The death is not currently being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
