Police were called at approximately 8.30am on Sunday, 20 March to reports of two cars in collision in Mollison Way, Edgware. Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and the drivers of both cars – a man aged 28 and a woman aged 82 – were taken to hospital for treatment. The woman remains in hospital receiving treatment to injuries that at this stage considered life-changing. The man has been discharged from hospital and is assisting police. Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing. Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are asking anyone who saw the incident or captured footage of it or the build up to call 101 ref CAD 1951/20 Mar.
