Knife rampage hits London: five victims stabbed in just four days
A savage knife crime blitz has rocked London, leaving three men and two teenagers injured in brutal attacks across the city. The slashes struck Shoreditch, Southall, Croydon, Forest Gate, and Crystal Palace between March 15 and March 19.
Man Suffers ‘Life-Changing’ Wounds in Shoreditch
In the dead of night on Saturday, a man in his 20s was viciously stabbed in the groin at 2:20am in Shoreditch. Initially critical, he’s now expected to survive but police warn his injuries are “life-changing.” Three suspects — two men and a woman in their 30s — have been arrested for attempted murder.
Teen Stabbed Outside McDonald’s in Southall
Hours later the same day, chaos erupted outside a McDonald’s on The Broadway in Southall. A 15-year-old boy was rushed to hospital with stab wounds deemed non-life-threatening. Two 14-year-old boys were arrested; one has been charged with wounding with intent, the other bailed.
Knife and Aerosol Attack in Croydon
On Tuesday afternoon, a 37-year-old man was stabbed and sprayed in the face with an aerosol can during a fight at Montague Court, Croydon. Emergency services treated him at the scene before hospitalising him with injuries described as “non-life-threatening and not life-changing.” No arrests have been made.
More Stabbings Near Forest Gate and Crystal Palace
- Later Tuesday, a 17-year-old was stabbed near Wanstead Park Overground Station in Forest Gate. The area remains a crime scene as police hunt suspects.
- On Wednesday, a man in his 50s was stabbed in the chest at a Shell petrol station on Crystal Palace Parade shortly before 3pm. He was hospitalised and the scene was cordoned off. Police have yet to confirm any arrests.
