Tragic Death of 92-Year-Old Pedestrian in Southampton Crash
Hampshire Police were called to Bassett Green Road, Southampton, at around 7.30am following a collision between a Ford Focus and a pedestrian. Emergency crews rushed to the scene and took 92-year-old Paula White to hospital.
Tragically, Paula later died from her injuries. A family member paid tribute, saying: “Paula White, aged 92, taken from us suddenly. A loving mother, grandma and great grandma, forever in our hearts.”
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Officers are still piecing together the exact circumstances surrounding the crash. They are especially keen to speak to the driver of a white Volkswagen Tiguan seen on Bassett Green Road at the time, who may hold vital information.
