Crack and Heroin Dealers Nabbed in Bromley and Ashford County Lines Bust
Kesshai Clarke and Mohammed Mansary have been locked up for running a ruthless county lines drug operation. Clarke ferried crack cocaine and heroin from London, while Mansary recruited local users to deliver the deadly drugs.
Double Arrests Lead to Heavy Jail Sentences
The pair were arrested in Bromley and Ashford in October 2021 during coordinated warrants. Both men were charged with possession with intent to supply.
- Mohammed Mansary, 21, from Poplar, admitted his role and was sentenced to four years behind bars at Maidstone Crown Court on 8 April 2022.
- Kesshai Clarke, 21, of Bromley, received a harsher seven-year sentence, which also covered his involvement in similar crimes in Winchester.
Police Smash County Lines Operation
Kent Police’s County Lines and Gangs Team cracked the case after intercepting text messages hawking heroin and cocaine to Ashford users between July and September 2021.
Investigators traced the messages back to a Bromley address. On 13 October, Clarke was caught climbing out a window during the raid. Officers found around £11k worth of drugs, phones, sim cards, and scales.
The next day, Mansary was arrested in Ashford. Police seized drugs, cash, and a knife from the scene.
Kent Police Crack Down On County Lines Dealers
“Class A drugs of the kind dealt by this county line ruin lives and lead to violence and further crime in our community,” said PC Samantha Smith of the County Lines and Gangs Team.
“Kent Police will keep working to identify those bringing drugs into the county, arresting them and putting them before the courts with a view to securing prison sentences like those handed down in this case.”
