On Monday, May 30th, at 12:10 p.m., a collision occurred near Mildenhall, Suffolk.
On the southbound lane between Elveden and Barton Mills, a white Maxus flatbed vehicle, a red Range Rover Sport, and a Scania lorry collided.
The site was attended by police, ambulance, and Suffolk Fire & Rescue teams, but the driver and passenger of the Maxus flatbed were both confirmed dead at the scene.
The A11 was shut down in both directions for nearly six hours, with the northbound carriageway reopening approximately 6 p.m.
Officers are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or who has a dashcam who was driving in the area to come forward.
