Tragic Crash on A1303 Claims Young Woman’s Life
A fatal collision on the A1303 near Stow Cum Quy has claimed the life of 24-year-old Holly Lucas from Newmarket.
Fatal Smash Details
Holly was driving a blue Toyota Yaris when it crashed into a silver Honda Accord at 5.19pm on Friday, 10 June. The crash happened close to Little Wilbraham Road junction. Despite paramedics rushing to the scene, Holly was pronounced dead at once.
Suspect Arrested Over Deadly Crash
A 32-year-old man from Ilford, Essex, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. He has since been released on bail until 19 August.
