After A Woman Was Stabbed In Oldham, Police Are Looking For Witnesses

On Wednesday, June 15, 2022, shortly before 2.30 p.m., police received a report of a stabbing at a property on Blanche Walk in the St Mary’s area.
A 50-year-old woman was taken to the hospital by emergency personnel. Her injuries are not considered life-threatening.
The perpetrator is thought to be a mixed-race male, about 5ft 10in tall and of average build. He was wearing a cap, sunglasses, a black bubble coat, black tracksuit bottoms, and black trainers at the time of the incident.
 As our investigation continues, we wish the victim a speedy recovery,” says PC Ebony Millington of GMP’s Oldham CID. While we conduct our own investigations, I’d like to encourage anyone with information, including dashcam or CCTV footage from the surrounding streets, to contact us or Crimestoppers immediately.
