Tragic Crash in Kings Heath Claims Life of Mobility Scooter User
A man has died after a collision between his mobility scooter and a car yesterday afternoon in Kings Heath.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
At 2.30pm, West Midlands Ambulance Service responded to reports of the crash at the busy junction of Livingstone Road and Alcester Road South. Two ambulances, a paramedic officer, a MERIT trauma doctor, and the West Midlands Care Team were dispatched immediately.
Fatal Injuries After Serious Collision
Paramedics found the man in critical condition with serious injuries. Despite advanced life support efforts on scene, a West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman confirmed:
“It became clear that nothing could be done to save the man, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.”
The tragic incident is under investigation as the community mourns the loss.
