Thugs Smash Police Car Wing Mirror While Officers Tackle Emergency

Police officers from the Response and Patrol team were busy handling a 999 emergency call nearby when three youths decided to kick off the wing mirror of a police vehicle. Seriously?

Suspects Flee as Police Close In

Hampshire Constabulary’s Southampton West Neighbourhood Team arrived quickly to back up the officers at the scene. They spotted three teens matching the description in Mansel Park. Two took off on bikes towards Lower Brownhill Road, leaving one cornered in the park.

The stopped youth denied any involvement. But with two runners and suspicious behaviour, officers remain unconvinced. Police are now scouring CCTV and seeking witnesses. If they find proof, that doorbell’s gonna get another ring.

Damage to Police Vehicle Causes Delays and Extra Paperwork

The damage may seem minor, but it means one police car is out of action for repairs. The two officers inside had to swap vehicles before responding to the next emergency. Plus, extra paperwork piles up – all thanks to reckless vandalism.
