Robber Busted After Pharmacy Till Snatch in Dover

A man has been charged over a daring till theft at a Dover-area pharmacy. The cash register and its contents were stolen in a brazen raid that also involved threats to staff.

During the robbery, threats were made to a member of staff, adding to the seriousness of the attack.

Suspect Arrested and Charged

James Roberts, 31, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with robbery on Tuesday 28 May 2019. He appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court the very next day and was remanded in custody pending further hearings.

Case to Continue at Canterbury Crown Court

The thief’s case is set to return on Monday 1 July at Canterbury Crown Court where the next steps will be decided.
