Teenager Stabbed to Death in Lanesfield
Ronan, 16, was fatally stabbed in Lanesfield on Wednesday night. The attack happened just before 9 p.m. on Mount Road.
Tragic Death at Scene
Ronan died instantly after being stabbed twice, a post-mortem confirmed. The community is in shock over the senseless loss of the young teen.
Three Charged Over Murder
Josiah Francis, 20, from Westcote Avenue, Birmingham, was charged with murder last night. Two 16-year-old boys have also been charged. All three are set to appear in wolverhampton/" title="Wolverhampton" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Wolverhampton court on Monday.
Meanwhile, a 15-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man arrested earlier this week have been released on police bail.
Family Pays Heartbreaking Tribute
“Ronan was a kind-hearted, loving, caring 16-year-old,” his family said. “A son and brother who would go to any length to help anyone. He was witty and made everyone laugh.”
“He is cruelly taken from us, and our hearts are broken. Please pray for his soul. Our son and brother – we will always love you, and you will live within us forever.”
Police Appeal for Dashcam Footage
Detectives are still investigating. They are reviewing CCTV and forensic evidence and urge anyone driving in the area at the time to check dashcams for footage of the attack or what followed.
