Four Arrested Over Fatal Stabbing

Call for Witnesses and Footage
Detectives are urging anyone who witnessed the attack or has CCTV or doorbell camera footage from around 1 a.m. in the area to come forward. This could be vital in piecing together what happened that night.
Police Warn Against Knife Crime
“These are the most terrible circumstances, and I want to express my heartfelt condolences to Mr Gibson’s family,” said Detective Inspector Jane Webb. “Every time a person is killed by a knife, a community is devastated. We urge anyone considering carrying a knife to think carefully about the consequences — prison, serious injury, or death.”
Local patrols in Carshalton will increase to reassure residents. Anyone with information should call 101, quoting log 0057 from July 11.
