Fast Food Brawl: Man Punched in Face in Newbury

A man in his twenties was attacked at a fast food joint on Northbrook Street, Newbury, after a heated “verbal altercation” with three others.

Blow to the Face Sends Victim Tumbling

The victim was sitting at a table when one of the trio punched him in the face, causing him to fall off his chair. He ended up with a black eye but luckily didn’t need medical treatment. The assault happened around 8.17pm on Saturday, July 16.

Police Release CCTV and Call for Help

Thames Valley Police have now dropped CCTV snaps of a man and two women linked to the attack. Officers believe these people hold “vital information” about the incident.

PS Richard Tarrant, investigating officer at Newbury police station, said: “We would like to appeal to anyone who recognises the individuals in this image to please get in touch.”
