Man Trapped Under Lorry Near Manor House Tube

Emergency services rushed to Seven Sisters Road in Hackney this afternoon after a man became trapped under a lorry close to Manor House tube station.

  • Air ambulance also requested to the scene.
  • Road closures shut off Seven Sisters Road in both directions, causing major delays.

Victim Rushed to Hospital; Condition Unknown

Witnesses say the man, believed to be riding a moped, collided with the lorry. He was trapped beneath the vehicle until rescuers arrived.

A Met Police spokesman confirmed: “Police on scene with LAS after call at 1:40pm to Seven Sisters Road, near Manor House station #N4 following collision between lorry & male pedestrian. A man in his 60s has been taken to hospital – condition update awaits. No arrests have been made. Road closures remain in place – please use other routes.”
